The original model accurately replicates the Saab 2000, a twin-engine turboprop airliner designed to carry 50-58 passengers at cruising speeds of 665 km/h. Developed jointly by SAAB and Fairchild, production occurred in Linköping, Sweden, with the first flight in 1992 and final delivery in 1999. A total of 63 aircraft were produced; as of 2016, 35 remain in service. The model is built near to scale in Max 13, featuring detailed exterior and cockpit modeling, full texturing, and animateable features such as landing gear, flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudder, propellers, tires, and wheels. It's available in multiple formats for diverse users, suitable for in-flight or airport ground animations, video, simulation, or populating airport scenes.
