The Saab 2000 is a twin-engine high-speed turboprop designed specifically for carrying between 50-58 passengers and reaching cruise speeds of approximately 665 kilometers per hour. SAAB partnered with Fairchild to develop this aircraft. Production took place in Linköping, Sweden. The initial flight of the Saab SF 2000 occurred in 1992; production ended in 1999, resulting in the creation of 63 aircraft altogether.
