This model is scaled near perfectly to general dimensions, varying by only 3% from the overall average size. A rich exterior and a detailed cockpit are included within its design. The model comes fully textured. It features numerous animations including landing gear retraction, flap operation, door opening on the landing gear, movement of ailerons, elevators, and rudder. Additionally, the propellers can be animated to mimic real flight patterns. Both tires and wheels can also be brought to life through animation capabilities. It comes in several different file formats designed to suit various types of end users' needs. Many airline-specific liveries are included with this model as well. This model was built to perform best within the settings of airport animations, flights, or videos, but it could easily fit into a scene representing an empty airport environment. The Saab 2000 is a jet-powered twin-engine plane made specifically for fast travel over large distances at high speeds, typically reaching about 665 km/h while cruising through the skies and carrying approximately between 50 to 58 people on board at any given time. The SAAB corporation teaming up with Fairchild led the project of developing this aircraft in close collaboration together. As a result of this combined effort, production started taking place right in Linkoping, Sweden, ultimately leading to 63 complete units being produced and placed out for public use within only a few short years from first flight in 1992 to its final delivery by 1999.
