This model was originally constructed using Max 13 on an as-is basis, approximately equivalent to full-scale dimensions within a three percent variance. The exterior detail is comprehensive, and general cockpit modeling is extensive. A rich texture is applied throughout the entire model. Animated landing gear retraction, flaps, landing gear doors, ailerons, elevators, and rudder are all integral features. Propellers and tires also undergo animation, including animateable wheels. Several formats make this versatile asset accessible to users with various requirements. Numerous airline liveries come pre-loaded, making it easy for the end-user to get up and running. This highly functional airliner was engineered for efficient use in commercial air travel at top speeds exceeding 665 kilometers per hour, comfortably carrying passengers in a cabin configured for between fifty-five and sixty-one guests. Development on the aircraft proceeded jointly by SAAB and Fairchild as a collaborative effort, resulting in an incredibly agile machine. All eighty Saab SF 2000 models built, from the initial prototype to the last plane manufactured in Sweden's industrial heartland of Linkoping, were assembled using modern manufacturing techniques within this remarkable project. First introduced for real-world airworthiness tests back in 1992 and completely delivered in production capacity just eight short years later by September nineteen ninety-nine, it came at a high price of approximately 630 units being sold on the open market worldwide with only around thirty-seven models currently still actively employed today for actual commercial transport duties according to figures collected at mid two thousand sixteen.
