S8064 Q500 Pylon Racing Airfoil Micro Drone Propeller (38.17g thrust @ 3V)
thingiverse
The propeller has been designed using the S8064 Q500 Pylon Racing airfoil coordinates. I tested it on the Micro Drone Propeller Thrust Tester, with results below. It was printed slowly with a 0.2mm extruder nozzle at 0.04 height per layer. The print was cleaned with a Precision Knife. After that, I finished the part with a 400 grit sandpaper. Here are the measurements for a few voltage values (these can also be viewed in the image files): - 1.5V => 10.57 grams - 2V => 19.64 grams - 2.5V => 28.11 grams - 3V => 38.17 grams The files you can download contain all shots taken during the test, with six text files that have all the airfoil coordinates used in the build, the printable STL files and finally the SLDPRT files. If you want to tinker with this propeller, you need to get a bunch of 8520 coreless motors. You can use the SLDPRT files if you want to make your own changes to the drone propeller.
