I designed an alternative motor mount to the weak wooden one that came with the kit, mine arrived broken so I had to improvise. I found another design online but it didn't allow direct mounting of the motor, so I created my own solution. The carbon fiber plate can be secured in place without glue using 2-4 self-tapping screws. This makes it easy to swap motors and standoffs as needed.
