A custom rear LED bar holder for Matek WS2812S LED strips is designed specifically for the S800 equipped with the motor mounting kit found here: http://tiny.cc/dsqo7y. To prevent electrical shorts, apply a small piece of insulation tape underneath where solder joints will be located on the carbon fiber plate. Carbon fiber is conductive and can cause short circuits if not insulated. Position the LEDs at the top, with the holes in the PCB facing downwards. This setup ensures that the LEDs remain centered across the back of the wing as long as the holder is securely attached to the motor mounting spacers. To route the wires safely, cut a channel into the underside of the foam and guide them towards the flight controller. It's recommended to create a parallel channel alongside the ESC hatch to meet up with the right-hand side's servo wires. The design features a 3.5mm cable channel for easy routing of cables. Use 30AWG silicone cables, which are flexible and suitable for this application.
