This is a mounting plate designed specifically for fitting the Matek-hv VTX into the S800. The VTX mounts with its LEDs facing downwards and the heatsink positioned near the carbon fibre cover. As a result, the LEDs remain out of sight, while the VTX remains cool. You can use Betaflight / iNAV Tramp VTX control to adjust power, band, and channel settings by connecting the Matek-vtx's TX pin to a TX uart on the flight controller. Alternatively, you can manually change the VTX channel, band, and power via the buttons, which remain accessible even with the VTX installed. To secure the VTX in place, you'll need to attach 4 M3 plastic nuts to the mounting plate using CA glue. Next, apply a plastic washer to each of the 4 holes between the VTX and the mounting plate, then use 4 plastic 5mm studs to hold everything together. Before installing the VTX, remove a small amount of foam from the mounting area to accommodate the antenna connector. Once that's done, push the antenna cable behind the mounting studs, securing it in place. When assembling the VTX, make sure its antenna connector and switches are facing towards the centre of the model, not towards the wingtips.
