S800 DJI FPV 4S Canopy / Lid / Cover

This is a custom-made canopy designed to fit an S800 quadcopter, specifically suited for use with a 4S battery. It features a cutout for the DJI Digital FPV Air Unit antennas. The front section of the canopy is secured in place using a strong adhesive, after which I employ a simple hinge mechanism attached by tape to connect it to the lid part. The lid clips snugly into position over M3 screws that are threaded into the rear compartment. While you can choose to tighten these screws for added security, I typically leave them slightly loose, allowing the canopy to flex and still provide a secure fit due to its pliable nature. Aerodynamic airflow is ensured through strategically placed vents in both the front and rear sections of the canopy, effectively keeping the air unit at an optimal temperature. This custom design was printed using PETG with support structures to ensure a sturdy and durable build.
