The S-75, a Soviet-designed high-altitude air defense system, was built around a surface-to-air missile with command guidance. Deployed in 1957, it became one of the most widely used systems in history. It scored the first destruction of an enemy aircraft by a surface-to-air missile when three V-750 (1D) missiles took down a Taiwanese Martin RB-57D Canberra over China on 7 October 1959 at 20 km altitude. This achievement was initially credited to Chinese fighter aircraft to protect the S-75 program's secrecy. Low-poly model renders were made using Marmoset Toolbag 3, with multiple textures provided for high-quality visualization.
