Many S500 drones come equipped with a subpar landing gear setup that consistently fails on its first use. It's no secret that this design is prone to breaking, and it's intended to create space underneath for additional components. If you need to increase clearance, simply extend the carbon rods by cutting them longer than necessary; otherwise, they should be trimmed to match the leg length exactly.
