S500 GPS Holder
thingiverse
I was browsing Thingiverse for S500 quadcopter components and stumbled upon the Naza GPS and LED holder designed by user mowbs. I downloaded his file, but when I attempted to fit my Naza GPS puck into the holder, it was too small to accommodate the puck's dimensions. I created a new version of just the holder part with customized dimensions to fit both my Naza GPS and a standard GPS puck from an F450 kit that I purchased from Amazon. The countersink hole in the original design was approximately 1mm short for the M3 socket head screws to sit flush with the bottom of the holder. To correct this issue, I used a 5mm drill bit to enlarge the countersink on my printed holders. The screw hole pattern remained consistent with the rail arms of the mount created by mowbs. The holders were successfully printed using a Polyprinter 229 at my local library.
