I envisioned a somber scene, one where a family's lost legacy was the treasure at stake. Playing with the idea of what truly matters in life led me to conclude that family is often at the top of people's lists. Losing my grandparents had a profound impact on me, and their memory and our time together became the foundation for this project. I drew inspiration from my hometown's St. Mary's Church in Bloxham, where my grandparents are laid to rest. To accurately capture the atmosphere, I visited the site and took reference photos of the path, church, and walls that would serve as a canvas for my piece.
