I designed a blank cover plate specifically for the opening where the power mirror control goes on the center console of a Nissan 240SX, model years 1989-1994 (S13). This 3D printed part was created with a purpose in mind - to replace my broken one and create a mounting spot for a mini trackball. The mini trackball is designed to control the Raspberry Pi car entertainment system I'm developing. This cover plate was made using Tinkercad, an online 3D design tool that you can edit live at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/di3PrxQmcM8. Installing this part is a breeze. The model was created from precise measurements taken from the original broken piece it's meant to replace. It fits perfectly into its designated hole on the center console and snaps securely in place with minimal effort required.
