I had trouble with the original snapping every time I had tried to place the Hydrometer in the holder due to the meter clips pushing out around the frame, I also used double sided tape to keep this in place to stop any movement. I would suggest using clear tape but I used thermal tape myself as i am not bother about how its looks just wanted it to do its job.
