These are custom barrel vise pads designed specifically for Smith & Wesson 586 and 686 models. To ensure the finish remains untouched, consider adding a shim made from card stock to the design. Printer Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No rafts will be used. Supports: No supports will be needed. Resolution: The print resolution is set at 0.2mm. Infill: The infill density is set at 50%. Design Notes: I deliberately chose a 3mm wall thickness for the top and bottom to allow for easy adjustment of the fit as required. Post-Printing Instructions: After printing, use a 3mm wall thickness for the top and bottom to adjust the fit if necessary. Consider adding a shim made from card stock to protect the finish. Design Process: I used the built-in Windows10 3D Builder program to create this design. However, I have yet to decide on a preferred 3D modeling software.
