When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Created in a fusion of Blender and Gimp artistry. The egg model is an elongated UV-sphere, expertly cut in two through a boolean modifier using a subdivided plane with randomized vertices. The egg white was simulated with fluids physics, before being meticulously sculpted to correct artifacts and smoothen its texture. The yolk was added manually later with precision. All the shell textures are procedurally generated, and were created with Cycles nodes baked to the exported model before actually cracking it open.
