I was excited to try out a direct drive extruder on my hypercube, but unfortunately, the 2 x 10mm X axis rods are too close together for this setup on the Tech2C Hypercube. Since the S.T.E.V.E core XY design allows for this configuration, I wanted to use the x ends from that design. However, the X&Y stepper motors have a different layout, so I adapted the X ends to fit the hypercube by mirroring them and adjusting them to work with the 10mm OD X rods. To make this modification possible, you'll need to lower several positions on the frame by 2mm. Specifically, this includes: * Both X&Y motor mounts * All 4 Y rod mounts * 2 rear belt pulley brackets I've also included a Y rail bearing cap as I prefer it over the 2-piece clamps used in the S.T.E.V.E. design. Update: On March 14, 2018, I revised the model and added two new versions - one with a 15mm (LM8UU) linear guide and another with a 16mm (IGUS) linear guide.
