Last week my trusty old hand shower snapped its final wire. I decided then and there that it was time for a replacement - one that I could make myself, if necessary. That's what's currently in progress: the printing process is yet to come. Therefore, be cautious when following along! EDIT 24 jan 2015: Just now replaced my original design with V2. This newer version lies flat on my bed, where its internal triangle improves quality while minimizing support within - although some experts recommend support for the bottom section of the screwable component. EDIT 24 jan 2015: It's finally done printing with a robust 100% infill setting. But there's just one catch: it leaks. I often wonder if that's a clever design feature - one that might soften up saltwater, allowing water to slowly seep through all the multiple layers in its path! For now, my focus shifts to producing an updated model with six sides and a heightened global extrusion rate of 110%, accompanied by a 20% infill. I'll be keeping you posted as this progresses.
