S.P.U.P.E. - Stinger Pro Ultra Platinum Edition: A Picatinny Mod for the Nerf Stinger Have you ever wanted an S-Tier F-Tier blaster? Well now you can elevate your game to fortuitous heights and attain long range pursuits with this soft dart expression change kit for the Stinger by Ha$bro. Use rail to attach advantage gain componentry. So easy to use. For real though, this thing is easy to assemble. Cut 1.5" of 17/32 brass for the barrel. Cut the barrel off of your Stinger so that from the end you cut to the back cap measures 2.25" or so. Remove the back cap and pull out all the guts including the dart post and then use a round file or whatever tool you've got to remove material from the inside so that the brass will fit about 1/2 inch inside the barrel. After everything fits nicely and and BEFORE you install the brass, put on the shell. The back cap removes a small amount of deadspace and should be glued into place with the glue of your choice. Once you've got the cap on put the front portion of the kit (the part with the rail) on the front before inserting the brass. I'd recommend gluing everything to be honest. After you've buttoned everything up take the brass and push it into the barrel through the front. I just push it in finger tight and then push it down on a piece of wood or something hard. Then you can give the barrel a bevel to make loading nice and smooth. This is made for Half Darts BTW
