S.P.R.U.E. Eldar Hornet (Re-cut)

28mm scale model of the Eldar Hornet, as its name implies with a wink.\r\n\r\nNote that there are two versions of the sprue available: one featuring an integrated canopy and another, more intricate version with pilot legs and separate canopy.\r\n\r\nI incorporated this model into my "S.P.R.U.E." series, which stands for Supportless Print-Ready Ultimate Elements. The objective is to design all models according to these specifications so users can directly print them without support or tedious settings.\r\n\r\nThis model is a poly-where-required design: it's neither low nor high poly and is optimized to render well at the scale it's intended for.\r\n\r\nI still need to refine the cockpit to achieve a smoother finish, but once printed and slightly sanded, it looks quite acceptable.\r\n\r\nAs with all Eldar models, every surface is slightly curved, making it impossible to print them completely smooth.\r\n\r\nMajor Update in October 2019: The canopy, thrusters, and fins were extensively reworked for better assembly. I'm always eager to receive print results and feedback to improve my designs, so don't hesitate to let me know if you encounter any issues.\r\n\r\nA big thank you goes out to papa_sharlch, whose scorpion aspect warrior legs I borrowed to create the pilot's cockpit: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3715414
