S.P.R.U.E. Eldar Hornet (Re-cut)

S.P.R.U.E. Eldar Hornet (Re-cut)

28mm scale model of the Eldar Hornet, designed with precision and flair. As you might expect, there are two distinct versions of the sprue - one with an integrated canopy and another, more intricate design featuring pilot legs and a separate canopy. I've incorporated this model into my "S.P.R.U.E." series, which stands for Supportless Print-Ready Ultimate Elements. The goal here is to create models that meet specific criteria, allowing users to print them directly without the need for support or tedious settings. This model is optimized with poly where required - neither too low nor too high in detail. It's designed to render well at its intended scale, providing a crisp and clear printed result. Although I still have work to do on the cockpit to achieve a smoother finish, once printed and lightly sanded, it looks quite acceptable. As all Eldar models are characterized by curved surfaces, achieving a completely smooth print is impossible. Major update in October 2019 - I reworked the canopy, thrusters, and fins for improved assembly. Your feedback on print results is invaluable to me, so please don't hesitate to share any issues you encounter. I'd also like to extend my gratitude to papa_sharlch, who kindly allowed me to borrow the legs from his Scorpion Aspect Warrior (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3715414) to create those in the cockpit.
