I design these custom accessories using a laser cutter on 1/8-inch thick plywood sheets, cutting them into precise 2.5-inch long pieces. These innovative tools are specifically created to keep elastic facemasks at a safe distance from nurses' ears. As they're made of wood, it's essential to discard them after each use since wood has the tendency to absorb microorganisms and cannot be effectively sterilized.
