"New" Graber Brazilian Project Makes Printing Easy With its expansive printer area, our project is a significant leap forward. Its structural aluminum profile allows effortless assembly and can be printed to precision. If needed, the connectors can also be custom-printed or simply purchased as universal connectors for easy profile assembly. The bearing and motor support components are equally flexible; these parts can also be printed on demand with an M3 bolt hold for extra security. Your feedback and suggestions are invaluable. Feel free to contribute and share your insights. Designing This Project: The Details Aluminum Profile Design Features * 4 x 400mm aluminum profiles for solid structure support * Aluminum shaft, 20mm wide by 8mm thick * Four custom-fit connectors securely hold the print head * Four M5 threaded rods for robust Z-axis stabilization (stainless steel is highly recommended) * Custom-fit rivets secure key components in place Motion Control Bearings and Supports * Four bearings are employed to stabilize the Y-axis car for smooth movement. * Additional linear motion LM8uu bearings maintain precise control over both X- and Y-axis movements * Universal connectors can be purchased for aluminum profiles Electronic Component Choice The electronic framework remains faithful to the original Graber project. The chosen hardware consists of Arduino paired with ramps for streamlined print functionality. Adjusting to Your Needs Note: Adaptations may be required if using a 608zz bearing in conjunction with an 8mm shaft. However, this is simply unnecessary when employing the specified rod size."
