thingiverse

The idea of the S.C.O.M (Sulfur City On Mars) project was born from two reflections about 3D printing. First, how to use real scale 3D printing as a fabrication method for a Martian base, and secondly, how to design easy-to-print 3D files in order to build a playful and fun 3D printed model that would allow anyone to explore the different possible configurations of a future human community on Mars. The project tries to focus on more precise aspects of life on Mars, like feasibility, construction principles, functions, ressources distribution... Instead of the study of a simple formal design. Please check the gallery to learn more about this project Instructions Printed in ABS (extrusion speed : 80mm/s, layers height : 0.2mm, infill : 10%). The only small support you'll have is right under the triangular assembly pin.
