This is a scratch made Marlin Firmware for the S-508 3D Printer Kit sold on many Chinese websites which closely resemble the Prusa i3. This firmware has not been developed by me nor was I part of its development team. However, it significantly surpasses the original firmware in several areas including flaws. To enhance performance this new firmware enables users to heat their extruder up to 260 degrees and hot bed up to 115 degrees both essential for accurate ABS extrusion operations. Key upgrades include refined stepping capabilities allowing users to benefit from precise control. S-508 3D Printer Kit powered by motherboard MKS GEN V1.1, it is built on top of the combination of Arduino MEGA2560 along with RAMPS1.4 and A4988 drivers making the whole printing process much smoother. To use this firmware users will have to follow certain installation procedures. The most common methods are covered in a step-by-step guide that ensures safe and proper execution. Download the required software from http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software then open /Marlin/Marlin.ino file inside the IDE with your selected Arduino tool. Now click on 'File' > "Board type" option set it to "Arduino Mega 2560". Make sure that Serial interface settings correctly corresponds. Click Upload button on top, in case no result found check File> Upload
