The file includes a simulated roller of type 688 (8 x 16 x 5 mm) for use as smooth bearings if no rollers are available. Axes used are 8mm in diameter. The goal is to achieve cam-based positioning, initially with two positions (top and bottom). Subsequently, by modifying the cams, students can experiment with small and large speeds based on position. The system will be automated using contactors. Students can calculate reduction ratios, MRU (uniform rectilinear motion), MCU (uniform circular motion), etc. The only limit is imagination.
