This is an experimental model that mounts to a 1.75-inch roll bar. It fills a long-overlooked category of items that can be mounted around the cloth hood and above the windshield. I highly recommend printing with ASA UV-resistant plastic, or applying paint or epoxy to your plastic for added protection. In PLA, it printed smoothly without any support issues and clamped tightly onto the bar. This versatile design could easily be extended to hold anything from speakers or a shovel to a mirror. Update 1: After printing in PLA and painting with black epoxy paint, I was impressed by its appearance. However, I soon realized that my mistake when I left it hanging on the fence in direct sunlight for two days - upon returning, I found it severely degraded. Avoid using PLA for outdoor projects as it's no match for UV light and rain. For a more durable result, opt for ASA instead. Printed with ASA, this model boasts an excellent finish, superior strength, and is resistant to both UV rays and water. Other materials like PETG or ABS may also work well.
