Portrait of Gina - Artist's Wife. This is a sculptural portrait of Gina (Regina) Pinkus, the wife of artist Eugenia Markova (1895-1973), a writer whose novels and plays translated into French include Le porteur d'eau, La post, Vitraux, illustrated by Marek Szwarc. She was also a journalist who worked with Warsaw's Ewa magazine and Poznan's Kultura before World War II.
