Ryzen 5 2400G Mini-ITX with ASROCK AB350 Gaming-ITX Motherboard v2
thingiverse
This is a refined iteration of the Ryzen 5 2400G Mini-ITX system paired with the ASROCK AB350 Gaming-ITX Motherboard and a Minimal Case. The case was specifically designed for use with the ASROCK AB350 Gaming ITX motherboard, but other Mini-ITX boards can also be used; however, they may require fan position adjustments and I/O panel reconfigurations to fit properly. Removing the fan grill appears not to compromise cooling or performance of the Ryzen 2400G APU, although it does make the system look sleeker without it. The RAM was upgraded to a full 32GB for enhanced capabilities as a software development workstation. The remaining parts list is accessible here: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/gWXXsZ Compared to previous iterations of this design, the power supply has been significantly downsized. I am currently utilizing this power supply and transformer: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0769LYJL3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B076C7X7GW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This system now runs Arch Linux day-to-day, with the BIOS fully updated and a stable OS on Linux 5.0 and Mesa 18.3. The case has proven to be sturdy enough to withstand traveling and even accidental drops. Unfortunately, I have yet to discover an elegant method for snapping the shell together; therefore, I keep the two halves secured with a single twist tie.
