It stands as the world's largest abandoned structure and once held the title of tallest hotel anywhere. Dubbed the 'Hotel of Doom', Ryugyong hotel in North Korea boasts a fascinating history that dates back to 1987. For 18 years, this 330-meter tall concrete pyramid stood empty before gleaming windows were finally applied. Construction has been halted and restarted numerous times, leaving uncertainty surrounding the completion date, although many remain optimistic it will be finished soon. The main challenge lies in finding a reliable model of the hotel, free from cost that is, prompting me to create my own printable version. Everything is designed to scale as accurately as possible based on some information gathered from a PDF file discovered on an untrustworthy site featuring an interactive 3D model showcasing various areas within the building.
