Ryobi One+ Tapered Rear Bit Holder for Impact Driver & Drill
thingiverse
I stumbled upon esromj's ingenious Rear Bit Holder design and promptly printed out two of those to upgrade my trusty drill, but during the process, esromj enlightened me that newer drills boast a distinct design at the back, rendering their original creation too bulky for optimal fitment. Undeterred by this revelation, I carefully sanded down the originals, only to discover they shattered upon application, prompting me to dive into Tinkercad with esromj's original blueprint and inject some much-needed tweaks. With a few swift strokes of my digital pencil, I added three deliberate modifications: two rectangular hollow shapes to bestow a sleek taper on the clip, and a cylindrical addition to subtly widen it, thus rendering it less susceptible to breakage. It's essential to acknowledge esromj's creative prowess; all I contributed was approximately 6-8 minutes of tinkering with their design to tailor it to my specific needs. If your drill or driver sports a trapezoid-shaped indentation at the rear, this tweaked Rear Bit Holder should seamlessly integrate into your workflow. Thank you for taking the time to peruse this post, and I wish you a productive printing experience.
