Ryobi One+ Battery Dust Cover
thingiverse
While building a french cleat system for my Ryobi ONE+ tools, I tried to orient the tools in such a way that would protect the battery terminal from dust/dirt. This worked on most places, but some tools were left with in a way that I worried over time that the terminals would get dirty. Simply put, I wanted a cover for the tool(s) that did not have needless plastic printed (the battery stock for example). I also wanted this cover to clip into place so that regardless of the tool angle it was still protected. Lastly, I wanted this piece to stand out (hence the red filament) to verify installation and snap in/out easily. I found a number of things on thingiverse that would sort of fix the issue, but my nothing that addressed every one of my goals. This dust cover is the result. These covers easily slip into the tool belt when taken off for tool use, but quickly snap back when the tool is placed back. The red covers are easily visible on the picture of the entire cleated tool wall.
