Ryobi Battery Trigger
thingiverse
The Ryobi battery adaptor is incredibly easy to use, requiring only a momentary switch and 18v power source. The recommended switch model is Radio Shack's 275-609, which fits perfectly due to its self-tapping hole that eliminates the need for a nut on the back. The side holes serve as terminal posts and can accommodate a 20mm long M3 bolt, allowing for compression. Inside, there is ample space to adjust wires. Bolts as terminal posts ensure a firm fit with PLA and can be scaled by +1% for ABS. This adaptor securely holds the battery in place and has a side-tapered hole for wire exit and attachment to terminal bolts. Although a terminal cover wasn't designed, black tape effectively solves this issue.
