Ryobi Battery power supply
thingiverse
I required a variable power supply for a voltage regulator and a robot I'm working on. Ordering several lithium ion battery packs and wiring them up seemed like a viable solution until I remembered the six battery packs I already had for my tools. Why not utilize those? Hence, this project was born. I used keystone 204 battery clips and soldered a fused connector to each. They slide right onto the print and pop right onto the battery. I noticed that with some stiffer clips (depending on the supplier), scaling up to 102% or 103% helps them fit snugly due to how tight they are. Here's a link to the 20-pack of battery clips I purchased: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XYSUURS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. There are likely many other places where you can get them, or you can simply rip them out of a broken remote control - they should all work similarly. If your contacts are larger, I'd be happy to modify the design for you.
