Ryobi Battery Holder

Ryobi Battery Holder

I designed this Ryobi ONE+ battery holder after seeing a version created by MichaelAtOz. Starting fresh with a new OpenSCAD program allowed me to come up with a design that is completely my own and not based on anyone else's. This updated model features a tighter fit, a larger mounting hole (perfect for securing it with a concrete screw), and a sleeker body. I've included STL files for the holder itself, the wedge, and a combined version with both components.\n\nInstructions\nFor the best results, print this solid using 90% fill at thick shells. The 1.5mm thickness of the holder won't consume much material, as evidenced by my build on a da Vinci 1.0 which used only ~5 meters of 1.75mm filament. If you want to prevent electrical connection openings from sagging on top, consider adding supports – just keep in mind they'll be confined to the three openings and shouldn't waste too much material.
