Ryobi Battery Connector Clip for Charging
thingiverse
I just realized that I labeled the polarity incorrectly... Please meter your connections before using. I will update the STL with the correct labels once I have some time. Sorry and thanks. I wanted to charge my Ryobi batteries with a generic charger but I needed a reliable way to connect to the pins. I saw other designs but that required me to purchase a part from Ryobi to use the design. This version uses "Male Insulated Quick Connectors 16-14 gauge" from Princess Auto in Canada. Part number 8226284. I just removed the insulation and soldered the wires. Print the first 20mm of the model with solid infill and the rest ~20%. Then clean out the holes with a 5/32" drill bit. You need to be careful not to squish or get any solder on the outside of the connectors. The connectors should fit tightly even without glue. Please ignore the yellow NiCad battery, this was designed to be used with the lithium batteries. Jumper the positive terminal to the back terminal with a 1.2k ohm resistors to enable charging. Please perform and use at your own risk. Thanks!
