Ryobi battery adapter
thingiverse
I built an "adapter" for a single-cell battery for Ryobi tools ONE+. Last week I bought and used (5 years battery) with 1.5Ah cells. Since I had a set of 5S2P welded battery packs (5Ah) for electric tools, I decided to add a spacer between the cover and bottom part. It works very well using the original electronic BMS board with a 4-bar indicator. I replaced the original "star" screw with a classic PZ1 M3x35 wood screw. All build steps are in the "how I designed this." If necessary, I can take additional photos/videos of the battery content. This is not a 100% proper model. The project is for someone who has DIY skills - a little grinding, cutting, gluing, and basic tool operation! There's a risk of battery damage, fire, and electric shock. Be careful! Fusion360 project, STL, STEP files are available for your adjustment and modification. Feel free to remix it and link to the original project.
