Ryobi 550 CFM Blower Short Nozzle

This is a shortened nozzle I created for the Ryobi 40V 550CFM (RY40470VNM) leaf blower for the purpose of drying cars. This particular revision is intended to use a latch similar to the stock nozzle, with a generic dowel pin and spring from McMaster Carr, part numbers below. Initial designs utilized the hardware removed from the stock nozzle, but I decided not to move forward with that as I wanted both nozzles to remain useable without swapping parts.Updated Nov 26 2023 - I didn't like how the locating dowels for the spring didn't effectively hold the spring in place, so I made the pin 1.5mm thick instead of 1mm. I edited the lever backside to match, and while I was at it, I changed the fillets at the top of the lever and matching fillets on the lever housing to make it a little bit easier to bridge cleanly when printing with no supportsAlso, if you have this blower and your handle is slipping as most of them seem to, the bolt that threads into the T-Handle has stripped the splines in the blower body. If you can remove it (I wedged a screwdriver against one of the flats on the bolt head after removing the rubber plug), replacing the stock bolt with a bit of M6 threaded rod and an M6 threaded connector has worked well for me. I used red threadlocker between the M6 threaded rod and the connector to keep them together. I’ve included a picture of the stripped stock screw and what I replaced it withMcMaster Carr:98381A444 Dowel Pin, 4037, 4140 Alloy Steel, 3/32" Diameter, 1-1/4" Long1986K77 302 Stainless Steel Corrosion-Resistant Compression Springs, 0.375" Long, 0.3" OD, 0.256" ID, Packs of 6
