Ryobi 40V Battery Base

Ryobi 40V Battery Base

A battery base for a Ryobi 40 volt battery. Remix it for your custom applications. (See my Ryobi 18V to 40V adapter.) Printing: Supports - Yes Infill - Your choice. I used 80% Material - PLA Post Printing: Carefully break away supports with a knife and screwdriver. For the support in front of the terminal pins, I used a soldering iron to melt a slot in the infill in order to pry it out. Gently lift the battery release lever to free the inside supports. Hold open the battery release and grab it with needle nose pliers to free it and pull it out. Drill a hole in the base where you want wires to go through. (My original design had a hole built in but the supports it added through the hole made removal more difficult.)
