Ryobi 18V String Trimmer - Brush Cutter Attachment
pinshape
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! This is version six of my brush cutter, specifically designed to attach to a Ryobi 18V String Trimmer (THE ONE I MENTIONED EARLIER). It's meant to tackle thicker brush that may grow in your yard, and this iteration seems capable of handling large weeds about the diameter of an average adult male's pinky finger. However, be aware that it did break when I hit a cedar fence with excessive force, which isn't something it's intended to withstand. PRINTING I highly recommend printing this at 100% infill to ensure its rigidity and durability. With moderate use, it should hold up without breaking. If you notice the blade becoming dull, simply sand it for sharpening. Keep in mind that 100% infill adds structural integrity, which is essential for this design. BONUS Check out a video of version five, which definitely broke: https://youtu.be/4e7GXS0hwms The new brush cutter blades on version six are twice as thick and tore right through those weeds with ease.
