Ryobi 18v One+ Power-Tool Battery Pack
thingiverse
A short story about creating a wall-mounted holder for various power tools using a common 18-volt battery design. In Oz-land, these tools can only be purchased at Bunnings but are relatively cheap and versatile. The user has accumulated several tools over time, all utilizing the same battery pack. To create a mounting system, they modeled a replica of the battery pack in SCAD, which may be useful for those with similar batteries. They printed and assembled the forward or back 5-degree pack depending on the tool's orientation, and used ABS with higher infill to screw the charger to the wall. Some adjustments were made for tools requiring a larger battery block, and the user cautions that large slice sizes may create a stepped appearance in the angled flat parts of the 5-degree STLs.
