Ryobi 18v Battery Power Tap
thingiverse
This is based on a custom Battery Holder for an 18V Ryobi battery designed by Walpeup, uploaded to Thingiverse on December 29, 2015 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1234683). However, the bottom part of the holder required a slight modification - it needed to be deeper so that the battery (4Ah, 6Ah, or 9Ah) could clip in correctly. This unintentional adjustment created a small bump around the perimeter, which is now easier to grip and separate from the battery. The top part of the design, where the terminals are located, remained unchanged. The holder was shown with several additional components, including: Anderson Powerpole connectors (45-amp bonded) available at powerwerx.com (https://powerwerx.com/anderson-powerpole-connectors-45amp-bonded). Keystone 209 battery contacts, which can be purchased on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06VTPWM6M). 12AWG Silicone Wire, commonly found at local R/C hobby stores. Black hot glue was used to insulate the terminals and maintain their ideal flat contact position.
