Ryobi 18V Battery Power Inverter Simplified
thingiverse
I saw a few different power inverters for the Ryobi 18 V battery but for majority of what I saw they required ordering Ryobi metal clips that I didn't have readily available. I improvised by taking apart a Ryobi PCG002 class 2 battery charger. You don't need to have that model number specifically it's just what I had a shit-ton (my favorite unit of measure) of lying around (like four or five of them) from various tools. The problem I ran into is they didn't readily or easily fit into the already made battery clips, so I made this model to accommodate and hold in the clips easier. Once you attach(I went the soldering route but you can do whatever works for you) your wire leads to the battery clips you can leave it exposed or just find a battery terminal protector cap and increase the size from 20-30% depending on what fits with your creation and you should be good to go. This is the first model\STL model I have ever altered or attempted to design ever so go easy on me. ha ha. Last month I didn't even own a 3-D printer or ever attempted to make any type of 3-D model, so although I have a long way to go, I'm happy I was at least able to make something semi my function-able.
