This object was scanned using the Scan-O-Tron 3000 (available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:127968), ReconstructMe (accessible at http://reconstructme.net), and an Xbox Kinect at The Great Fredini's Coney Island Scan-A-Rama booth during the 2013 World Maker Faire New York. The Scan-A-Rama is a cutting-edge, 21st century portrait studio that brings back the amusement park tradition of portraiture but with the added twist of 3D printing capabilities. It operates weekly in Coney Island and can also be booked for events. For more details or to order prints, visit http://www.thegreatfredini.com/scan-a-rama. To achieve optimal results, print at a .1 mm layer height without support; you may need to manually add small support structures and trim some overhanging plastic, but the final product will be of higher quality.
