I've recently switched my printer to linear rails with a different mount, so I won't be updating this project further. The link to the CAD file is available for anyone who wants to make changes or remix the design. This setup was inspired by several designs and built upon them to suit my printer's hardware needs, likely benefiting many others as well. Credits go to: Nase00 - Nutsert adapter on the front (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4010707) ChipCE- Backing plate (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4017555) greg191134 - Strain relief (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3080548) PermaNoob - Fan duct (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4031637) The fan mount is based on Prusa's 45° angled blower fan mount, adapted to fit a Volcano Heaterblock and nozzle, with an alternative version for V6 blocks and nozzles. For those who want to modify this setup themselves, I've made the related files public documents in Onshape. You can copy the document and continue working on your own version. I haven't printed or tried this yet, but will update when it's installed. The Probe XY offset is: X:65mm, Y:0mm. Please note that to fit the Prusa 45° angled fan mount using a V6 block, I had to cut away some sections of the fan by 2mm for a 2mm clearance to the heaterblock. I haven't tested this yet; please ensure it fits properly and doesn't melt or get too hot. If issues arise, I can modify the V6 mount design. I've also added another fan duct design that integrates into the front accessories holder, with an M3 Brass Heat set insert. PRINT SETTINGS!!! Use Prusa slicer under print settings --> Layers Perimetres: check "Extra Perimeters if needed" and deselect "Detect thin walls." I had to remesh the file due to some strange holes; these settings should help you print perfectly. GENERAL HEMERA NOTES: Prusa slicer default retraction for MK3 printers is 2mm, which needs to be dropped to 1.2mm or (1-1.8mm), and 40mm retraction speed. I found 2mm caused jams and grinding issues with the volcano. UPDATE: 11/12/19 - Added an EZABL Pro mount for easier side adjustment screw access. The design now has locking nuts placed lower on the probe, allowing you to adjust while the probe is fixed in place. Revised the Main duct/accessories mount for Volcano(R2) with a slot for the nut on the back (for those without brass heat set inserts), increased hole diameter to 3.3 for better clearance, and removed extra material blocking the side view of the Hemera heatsink. 9/12/19 - Strengthened the fan mount and moved it further back from the heaterblock on the volcano model due to an inaccurate CAD model of the heater block. The rest assembled well but required some effort to insert bolts into square nuts on the Hemera motor. 9/12/19 - Added another fan duct design integrating PermaNoob's design with the front accessories mount and using an M3 Brass heat set insert. Revised the mounting plate for better X-axis switch triggering, without affecting home offsets.
