Ryan's Bird Feeder was designed to hold one plastic SOLO cup full of bird seed. Printed out of strong ABS, it's a challenge to manufacture, but well worth the effort. The post slides through the base and is locked into place by a key on the underside, serving as a sturdy anchor for both the hanger wire and the cup itself. Notches in the underside provide easy reference points to find the center of gravity for your feeder, ensuring it remains stable and secure. This simple yet effective design showcases the limitless possibilities that can be achieved through creativity and imagination - after all, kids can learn valuable lessons by bringing their ideas to life! Drilling a few holes in the base for drainage was a smart move, and adding the correct key ensures everything stays tightly in place. Those pesky squirrels may have been causing problems before, but this updated design should keep them at bay, making it ready for mass production.
