RXL E3D X-Carriage Upgrade

RXL E3D X-Carriage Upgrade

I ditched the factory extruder assembly on my RXL within a week of owning it and spent twelve long months conceiving, reworking, and perfecting the x-carriage, hot end, and cold end combination that could deliver rock-solid results every time. Several iterations in, I finally caught onto the real problem - the aluminum x-carriage was a bulky monstrosity with woefully inadequate mounting options, so it got the axe too. Here's the setup that emerged from my redesign efforts. STL files included: RXL X-Carriage replacement, e3d v5 hotend (older model), and 20mm fan mount. The total cost was a mere $100, but the peace of mind I gained made it worth every penny.
