rx5808 Diversity Case
thingiverse
I'm happy to share my rx5808 Diversity Receiver board case design with you. This case prints beautifully in PLA with a moderate level of infill, and its success depends on your cooling setup. The three holes at the bottom serve several purposes: 1) Routing cables and power lines 2) Accommodating a beeper (note that I've edited my .scad file to accommodate various sizes) 3) Incorporating a 1/4" power switch Print Settings: Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Rafts: Don't worry about it, they're not crucial. Supports: You can skip them if you like, but having some helps. Resolution: Try to go for 0.1 mm or 0.2 mm - either works fine. Infill: Aim for 20-30% and you'll be good to go. Notes: This print is pretty forgiving overall, except for one tricky aspect: getting the big rectangle to stick to your bed requires some finesse. Use your best judgment here. I've printed this case with and without supports, and it comes out just fine either way since the overhangs aren't too steep.
