RX580 Backplate
thingiverse
Purchased a GIGABYTE RX580 8gb GPU second hand which didn't come with a backplate. Decided to create one to tidy up and hide the circutry. It was printed on an Ender 3 Pro. Cura by default will prevent slicing of the object due to it interfering with dissalowed printing zones. To fix this, change the printing zone to 235x235mm in CURA (shown in photo). When printing, I printed the top (with the writing on it) facing up to utilise the ironing feature, this is in CURA 4.6 and allowed for a smooth finish. Supports printed at 5% density to speed up print. Object printed with 20% infill. Thats pretty much it, thanks for reading. I hope it's of use to someone!
